$1,000 Reward

Release Date: Wednesday, June 1, 2011

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and the San Diego Police Department’s Homicide Unit continue to look for leads in the missing person case of Armando Cano.

Detectives said on May 23, 2010 at approximately 6 a.m., 34-year-old Armando Cano was last seen in his trailer located at 1010 West San Ysidro Boulevard in San Ysidro, California. Detectives believe Cano’s case is suspicious in that Cano’s front door to his residence was left open and items inside the residence appeared out of place.  Detectives said Cano is known to frequent Mexico but it would be out of character for him not to stay in contact with family and friends.

Armando Cano is a 34-year-old Hispanic male. He is 5’8” tall and weighs approximately 200 lbs.  He has short brown hair, brown eyes, and a scar above his left eye.

Anyone with information on the location of Cano is asked to call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477.  Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.  Collect calls are accepted and callers may remain anonymous.
