Suspect Wanted for Stealing “Powerpack Backpack” from Horton Plaza Sam Goody

Detectives Looking for Leads to Help Locate and Identify a Suspect Wanted for Commercial Burglary
Up to $1,000 Reward Offered

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Central Division are asking for assistance from the public to help identify and locate a suspect wanted for commercial burglary.

Detectives said on October 24, 2011, at approximately 4:50 p.m., an unknown black male stole a “Powerpack” backpack from the Sam Goody located in Horton Plaza in downtown San Diego. Several pictures of the suspect were captured by an alert Horton Plaza security guard working in the area. The stolen backpack is used as a power source for multiple electronic devices and is valued at approximately $150.00.

Suspect Description: Black male, 25-28 years-old, approximately 6’ tall, 175 lbs. with black hair. He was wearing a gray button up shirt, blue jean pants and aviator sunglasses on his head.
