Up to $1,000 Reward Offered


San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department’s Vista Station are asking for assistance from the public in identifying suspects wanted for a series of residential burglaries in Vista.

 Investigators said that as of January 2012, there have been approximately ten residential burglaries in the County and City of Vista. The burglaries are occurring during the weekdays between 7:30 a.m. and 7:45 p.m.  The suspect(s) usually walks up to a residence and knocks on the door or ring the doorbell. If there is no answer the suspect(s) will go to the rear of the house and remove the screen to a bathroom or rear window to gain access inside.  Once inside a house the suspect(s) has taken electronics, jewelry and cash. 

 On 03/06/12, an unknown Black male adult was captured on home surveillance video burglarizing a residence.  Pictures of this suspect are on page 2 of the release.

 On 01/27/12, two unknown Black male adults were found inside another residence.  The suspects fled on foot to a black Dodge Charger driven by an unknown Black female adult.

 On other occasions residents have seen a newer black odge Charger, an older unknown type blue sedan and an unknown type van in the area of the burglaries.   


Suspect #1: Black male 16-18 years, (possible juvenile) 5’7″ thin build with short black hair

Suspect #2: Black male adult, 20-22 years, 6’0″ thin build, wearing dark clothing

Suspect #3: Hispanic or White male adult, 5’0, 150lbs.

Suspect #4: Black female adult


Investigators are asking anyone with information on the identity and/or location of the persons responsible for this crime to call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477.
