San Diego County Crime Stoppers, along with detectives from the San Diego Police Department, are asking for assistance from the public to help identify and locate an unknown person of interest in connection with the investigation of an attempted robbery and sexual assault.
Detectives said on April 8, 2012, at approximately 3:30 a.m., an unknown black male attempted to rob and sexually assaulted a pedestrian near the trolley station at 400 Euclid Avenue.
Description: Black male, 18-23 years old, 6’-6’2” tall, 180 lbs., short black hair, wearing a baseball cap, dark jacket, and dark pants.
Anyone with information on the identity and/or location of the suspect is asked to call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case. Anonymous email and text messages can be sent in via www.sdcrimestoppers.com.
