San Diego County Crime Stoppers and the San Diego Police Department request the public’s assistance to locate a vehicle used in an attempted armed robbery.  

 On March 16, 2012, an attempted armed robbery occurred in the 7200 block of Navajo Road.  During the incident, the armed suspect was shot to death.  The suspects fled in a 1995 Ford Mustang bearing CA plate #3UJJ423. The vehicle is still outstanding.

 Suspect Vehicle Description: 1995 Ford Mustang convertible, red body with a black convertible top, California License number 3UJJ423. 

Anyone with information on the location of the suspect vehicle is asked to call the San Diego Police Department Homicide Unit at (619) 531-2293 or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case. Anonymous email and text messages can be sent in via www.sdcrimestoppers.com.
