San Diego County Crime Stoppers and detectives from the San Diego Police Department’s Western Division are looking for any additional victims and/or witnesses involving a fraud case in San Diego.
Detectives said 49-year-old Fadi Boulos Chaiban, also known as Eddie Morretti, Anthony Paul Marino, and Eddie Baker, has defrauded at least two separate women of approximately $169,000. Chaiban meets women on social web sites, dates, promises them a future and gets them to give him large amounts of money for investments. He never makes any investments and is not heard from again.
