Detectives Looking for Leads to Help Identify and Locate Suspect(s) Wanted for the Theft of a Rare Car
Up to $1,000 Reward Offered
San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Auto Theft Unit are asking for assistance from the public to help locate a stolen vehicle and identify and locate the unknown suspects involved in the theft.
Detectives said that sometime during the last three weeks unknown suspects broke into a home in Rancho Santa Fe and stole a rare, limited edition, 2005 Ford GT valued at about $250,000. It was equipped with a 5.4 liter supercharged engine worth about $40,000. There were only 4,038 of these cars built.
The car is blue with white stripes. Pictures of a similar car is below.
