Detectives Looking for Leads in Recent Homicide:

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and the San Diego Police Department Homicide Unit continue to look for leads in the recent unsolved homicide of Michael Gabriel “Gabe” Hallmann. Michael’s mother, Jennifer Hallmann, will be holding a candlelight vigil tonight with family and friends. The vigil will be held at the Ramona Soccer League fields at 6:00 p.m.

Directions to soccer fields: The fields are located at Ramona Community Park, Ramona CA. To get to the fields, take Highway 67 or Highway 78 to Main Street, go east through town to 2nd Street, turn left on 2nd Street then right on Earlham, go one block, then left down the hill to the fields.

Homicide Details:

On Sunday, September 30, 2012, at approximately 5:34 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 5000 block of Sterling Court on a report of an assault with a deadly weapon. They arrived to find 34-year-old Michael Hallmann in front of a house, suffering from several apparent stab wounds. Paramedics arrived and transported Hallmann to a local hospital for treatment. Hallmann died from his injuries later that morning.
