San Diego County Crime Stoppers and detectives from the San Diego Police Department’s Western Division are looking for three unknown suspects wanted for robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.
Detectives said on November 21, 2012, at approximately 5:00 a.m., the adult male victim called up several acquaintances to meet him at a hotel in Mission Valley. A female acquaintance known as “Jewell” (S1) arrived at the hotel (875 Hotel Circle South) to hang out with the victim. “Jewell” told the victim her sister was on her way over. A few minutes later “Jewell” walked over to the door and two unknown male suspects (S2 & S3) entered the hotel room. S2 pulled a handgun out and placed the gun into the victim’s face demanding his money and property. “Jewell” told the victim to cooperate and give his money and property to S2. The victim refused and struggled with S2 to retain his property. During the struggle, the victim was shot by S2. “Jewell” along with S2 and S3 fled the scene in a dark colored 2-door compact vehicle (possibly a Honda.) Based on the victim’s description investigators were able to complete the attached composite of S1 and S2. A composite sketch of S1 and S2 are attached to page 2 of this release. The victim was treated at a local hospital and is expected to make a full recovery from his wounds.
S1 Description: White female, approximately 50-60 years-old, 5’8” tall, heavy build, bleached reddish hair with light green eyes.
S2 Description: Hispanic male, approximately 23-27 years-old, 5’4” to 5’5” tall, slender build, black hair, brown eyes, with slight facial hair stubble.
