San Diego Police are looking for leads in the shooting death of Edward Johnston on December 9, 2008 in the Jamacha/Lomita area.

At 7:35 pm, officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Cardiff to a report of gunshots. They found two victims in the parking lot of a strip mall who had been shot. Edward Johnston, age 18, was killed, the other victim a 17-year-old-male survived.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 18-20, and bald. The night of the murder, he was wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
