SUSPECT SOUGHT IN RECENT HOMICIDES IN IRVINE AND RIVERSIDE COUNTIES
(San Diego) San Diego Police Department, in conjunction with law enforcement from Orange County, Riverside county and the Los Angeles Police Department are looking for the suspect responsible for multiple homicides in the Irvine and Riverside areas that occurred in their jurisdictions .
The suspect is Christopher Jordan Dorner, 33 years old, African American Male, 6’, 270 pounds, black hair, brown eyes and unknown clothing description. He is a former LAPD police officer and has made threats to harm any police officer who attempts to arrest him.
Dorner is considered armed and dangerous. He was last seen driving a dark colored Nissan Titan pickup truck, CA license plate 7X03191.
The attempted theft of a yacht moored at the Southwestern Yacht Club, 2702 Qualtrough Street, which occurred on February 6 is being evaluated for forensic evidence to determine if Dorner is a possible suspect.
Captain McManus will be available in front of San Diego Police Department at 11:30 a.m. to answer questions regarding the incident.
